Derawan Seaplane Charter, operated by Juara Holding Group, collects only the contact, trip and travel-document data needed to answer your enquiry and arrange a Berau–Derawan–Maratua–Kakaban charter with licensed Indonesian operators. We do not sell your data. We share it only with the operator, resort or authority required to fulfil your trip, and you can request access, correction or deletion at any time via WhatsApp or email below.

This policy explains what derawanseaplanecharter.com collects, why, and what rights you hold under Indonesia’s Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP) and, for visitors covered by it, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It applies to this website and to any WhatsApp or email conversation you start with our team. Last reviewed September 2026; details are subject to change as regulations and our processes evolve.

Who Processes Your Data?

Juara Holding Group is an independent coordination desk established in 2015. It arranges seaplane, boat and resort-transfer bookings for the Derawan, Maratua, Kakaban and Sangalaki area through licensed Indonesian operators; it does not own or operate any aircraft or vessel and is not affiliated with any named operator you may see referenced elsewhere online. As data controller for this site, Juara Holding Group decides what enquiry and booking data is collected and how it is used before passing the minimum necessary information to the operator handling your trip.

What Personal Data Do We Collect?

Category Examples When it is collected
Enquiry data Name, WhatsApp number, email address, travel dates When you message us or submit a form
Trip preferences Traveller count, preferred islands, dive or resort requests During enquiry or planning
Travel-document data Passport number, full legal name, nationality, date of birth, passport expiry Only once a charter or transfer is being confirmed, for manifest purposes
Payment reference Deposit or payment confirmation details you choose to share At booking confirmation, if applicable
Technical data IP address, browser type, pages viewed Automatically, via cookies and analytics, while browsing

We ask for passport data only when a specific operator or vessel requires it for a passenger manifest, never as a condition of a general enquiry.

Why Do We Ask for Passport Details?

Boat and small-aircraft operators serving Derawan, Maratua and Kakaban are required to record passenger manifests for safety and port or airport clearance purposes. We collect passport number, name, nationality and date of birth only after you confirm a booking, and only to build the manifest the operator or authority needs. We do not request passport data for a first enquiry, and we never store payment card numbers on our systems.

How Do We Use Your Data?

  • To respond to your enquiry and quote a route (Kalimarau Airport to Derawan, Maratua or Kakaban, or reverse)
  • To coordinate the booking with the licensed operator, boat crew or dive resort arranging your transfer
  • To prepare the passenger manifest an operator or port authority requires
  • To send booking confirmations, schedule changes and trip reminders by WhatsApp or email
  • To meet tax, immigration or transport-safety obligations under Indonesian law
  • To understand, in aggregate, which pages and routes visitors find useful

Who Do We Share Your Data With?

Recipient Purpose What is shared
Licensed seaplane, boat or transfer operator arranged via Juara Holding Group Fulfil your charter or transfer Name, contact details, passport data if required, travel dates
Dive resort or hotel in Derawan, Maratua or Kakaban Fulfil an accommodation or transfer booking you requested Name, contact details, arrival dates
Port, airport or transport authority Manifest and safety compliance As required by the applicable regulation
Payment or banking partner you use to pay a deposit Confirm receipt of payment Payment reference only, never full card data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to third parties for their own marketing. Data leaves our hands only to fulfil the specific trip you asked us to arrange, or to meet a legal obligation.

How Long Do We Keep Your Data?

Enquiry data that never becomes a confirmed booking is deleted or anonymised after 12 months of inactivity. Confirmed booking and passenger-manifest records are retained as long as Indonesian tax, transport or immigration rules require, generally up to five years, then deleted or anonymised. Where you withdraw consent before a booking is confirmed, we delete your enquiry data on request, subject to any record we must keep by law.

What Rights Do You Have?

Under UU PDP (Law 27/2022), you may request access to the data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where no legal retention obligation applies, restriction or objection to certain processing, and withdrawal of consent at any time; you may also lodge a complaint with Indonesia’s personal-data-protection supervisory authority under the Ministry of Communication and Digital. For visitors from the European Economic Area, we honour the same set of rights, including data portability, as a matter of practice, even though Juara Holding Group operates from Indonesia and is not itself established in the EU. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

Cookies and Analytics

This site may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working correctly and to understand, in aggregate, which pages and routes visitors read. Analytics data is used to improve content, not to build individual advertising profiles, and we do not run cross-site retargeting on this domain as of September 2026. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some site features but will not prevent you from contacting us directly by WhatsApp or email.

How Do We Protect Your Data?

Enquiry, booking and passport data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access is limited to the Juara Holding Group coordination team handling your trip. No online system is completely immune to risk, and we ask that you avoid sending passport scans or payment details over unencrypted channels where an alternative exists.

Children’s Data

We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from minors. Where a child travels as part of a group, the adult making the booking is responsible for providing that child’s details and for confirming they have authority to share them with us.

What Are Our Booking and Liability Terms?

Juara Holding Group arranges your charter with licensed operators; it is not the operator, not an aircraft owner and not a licensed financial, legal or tax adviser. Route availability, water-landing approvals and pricing are confirmed by the operator on a quote-on-request basis and are subject to weather, authority permits and operator conditions at the time of travel. This privacy policy does not constitute a booking contract; specific terms are confirmed with you before a deposit is requested.

Changes to This Policy

We review this policy periodically as our processes and Indonesian data-protection guidance evolve. The version in effect is the one published on this page; material changes will be reflected here with an updated review date.
